What to expect if you join us for worship

Time

Sabbath School: 9:30
Worship Service: 10:45

Location

We are privileged to share worship space with the Waterbrook Brethren Church, 4392 Palmyra Church Rd, Edinburg, VA.

Sabbath School

Saturdays at 9:30 AM

Adult Sabbath School — An interactive Bible based discussion, that can be very engaging as we wrestle with scripture, trying to understand it and apply it to our lives.

Children’s Sabbath School — We have two Sabbath school classes for children (ages 0-9, and ages 10-13).  Our teachers seek to make the classes a fun and interactive way to learn about God. Children’s Sabbath school can help lay a spiritual foundation in your child’s life.

Youth & Young Adult Study Our youth and young adult Saturday morning study group is a great way to make friends and grow in your relationship with Jesus!

Worship Service

Saturdays at 10:45 AM

Our worship service is a mix of planned programming and spontaneous interaction.  It includes the basic elements that many are familiar with in a worship service; scripture, prayer, music, a time to give tithes and offerings, and a sermon.   We are not highly polished musicians and stage personalities, but we are inspired by the warmth and authenticity we share, and how Jesus is in the midst of it all, transforming each one of us.

Dress

If you visit us on a Sabbath, you will people dress in a variety of ways, some formally with ties and dresses, and some more casually, in jeans and t-shirts.  The choice is yours, come as you are and you will be loved and welcomed.

Meal

We love to hang out, so every week after the worship service we share a vegetarian meal together (we usually have gluten free and vegan options as well).  We would love for you to be our guest and stay for lunch.  No need to bring anything other than an appetite.
