Who we are
Our Message, Mission, Beliefs, and Home
Our Message
Our message is an invitation to join in fellowship and experience the joy of connecting with God and other people.
“That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.” – 1 John 1:3-4
Our Mission
Our mission is to live as disciples of Jesus and to help others do the same. Our goal is to be with Him and to learn to be like Him. This means growing deep (having a growing connection with God), going out (building connections with other people), and making disciples (helping others to follow Jesus in their hearts and lives). Our Beliefs
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the source of our beliefs. The Bible is a unified story that points to Jesus as the “way, truth, and life” for the believer. Jesus’ death and resurrection are our only hope for eternal life, and His life is our one true example for life here and now. Adventists hold to 28 core beliefs that can be organized into six categories; the doctrines of God, humanity, salvation, church, the Christian life, and last day events. In each belief, we see the plan of a loving God that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, seeks to restore His broken relationship with humanity both now and for eternity. Our Home
We truly believe that the church is not a place but it is the community of God’s people (This is how the New Testament talks about it). Our loving, supportive, and diverse church community has the privilege of sharing worship space with Waterbrook Brethren Church. We would love for you to join us for a family friendly, interactive, and inspiring worship service followed by a delicious, healthy, home-cooked lunch. We would be honored to have you come for a visit, or for you to decide to make our church home your home.
